Function
Dihydroartemisinin (DHA) is a metabolite of artemether. Artemether is an antimalarial for the treatment of multi-drug resistant strains of falciparum malaria. It is combined with Lumefantrine and sold by Novartis under the brand names Riamet and Co-Artem.
