Function
N2,N2-Dimethylguanosine is an urinary nucleoside, a primary degradation product of tRNA. The mean levels of urinary N2,N2-Dimethylguanosine in the patients with colorectal cancer are significantly higher than those in patients with intestinal villous adenoma or the healthy adults. N2,N2-Dimethylguanosine has been identified in the human placenta.
